Just started shooting the .243 win worked up two loads useing 90 grn. nos bal tips over 42.5 grns of IMR 4350 with WLP giving the spark what do you like?

I would also like some loads for Sierra's #1530

The only loads I ever load for my sons .243 is 100 grain Sierra's with 41 grains of IMR-4350 WW cases and CCI primers, 85 grain Barnes bullets also with a full charge of 4350 and 60 grain Sierra HP's and 46 grains of IMR-4350. All of these print nearly in the same place at 100 yards and the 60's and 100's both shoot under an inch at 100.

These loads shoot great in 2 different 243's, one a Ruger No1, and the other a Remington Model 7.
Powder IMR 4350, 40 grains and 42 grains
Bullets 100gr Sierra Spz, and 95gr Nosler Partition.

We used both bullets with the 40 gr charge in Texas where shots were close, and used both bullets and the the 42 gr charge in Colorado and Wyoming where shots tended to be farther.
My wife made some pretty long shots on deer and a 350 yarder on antelope with these loads.

The Model 7 with its 18" bbl shot groups at 300 yards with the 42 gr charge, both bullets, that I will not even discuss because no one would believe them.

Not just "once" but "most regular".

Haven't used the 243 for deer in quit awhile but have let other friends use my rem 700 and they have taken deer with it lately.
The load I used with the sierra 85 and the hornady 87 match is H414(45 grs,book max)wlr primers and win brass.
Below is the best group I have gotten with the 85 sierra at 300 yds.Have tried this load in my rem 700,tikka and a new savage that I just got and all will shoot one holers at 100 yds.

Sierra 1530s and Speer 85 Spire BT bullets with 38gr of IMR-4064 work really well in my Rem 700.

I have two .243 WIN.'s and one like's H4350 and the other like's H414. Bullet weights are between 80 and 105 grains. I think The IMR poweds would work as well.

Got a new savage mod 16 ss with fluted barrel a couple months ago.Here is 2 loads I tried in it.Just got 2 boxes of 85 bonded bullets I am going to try soon.
