SHIPPING: UPS Surcharge of $20.00 Per Package on Hazardous Materials. Powder and Primers are Hazardous and may be combined under one hazmat charge if shipped in the same order. Bullets are not.

DUE TO EVER - INCREASING HAZARDOUS MATERIALS CHARGES,
WE COMBINE DIFFERENT POWDERS AND PRIMERS IN OVERPACKS
TO SAVE YOU MONEY.

FFL'S ARE NO LONGER REQUIRED. However, Non-FFL'S must send a copy of your driver's license and a statement that the storage does not violate any Federal, State or Local Laws. If you have an FFL, we would like a copy. Please include your Phone Number.

Grafs and Sons I recall offers to pay the fee if you buy enough.

Check out their home page. I think that offer is under "ordering" info.

Hazmat fee is $20.
One of the few places which allow powder and primers in same package. 50# max for the combo.

Anyone have a decent place to buy primers, powder etc from? I am about 7 hours from Midway, but I was wondering if any other places out there offer a discount if I buy enough stuff? I am sick of paying all these fees...

What Arky said. What I do is put my order in with the local guy (so many bricks of primers, so many 8 lb kegs of this or that), and the next time he orders I get a call to pick it up. His insurance limits him to how much powder he can stock, so I have to pick it up as soon as it comes in. On the other hand, I get a decent "cost plus" deal, so it works out for both of us since he gets to spread his freight charge out. FWIW, Dutch.

I do not know what size town or what area you live, but i have found that local gun/reloading stores sell powder and primers for just a few dollars more than the discount catalouge and no haz-mat. gunshows are a good source and usually the same price as the discount quys and no haz-mat fee.
