Good Morning gentleman
I just purchased my first large bore a CZ550 in 416 Rigby. If you would be so kind as to post your favorite loads for that specific rifle.
Thank you

K EvansMy "hunting" load for my CZ 550 is a 400 grain Barnes TSX with 100 grains of RL 22 and a CCI magnum primer seated to 3.635". I also use the 400 grain Barnes Banded Solid with 99.0 grains of RL 22 and a CCI magnum primer. Both use Hornady brass and are very accurate.

NakihunterCongratulations on your first big bore!
It is the same for me - See this thread -
http://forums.accuratereloadin...4711043/m/1801038581Mine is a Kevlar stocked rifle & I had to do a bit of DIY to smooth the bolt.
I get good results with AR 2209 (same as H4350). I am getting 2550 fps with 96 grs & 400 gr bullets - Hornady RN Interlocked & Barnes solids. With 350 gr TSX I get 2850 fps with 102 gr of the same powder. All are fired by F215 mag primers.
I crimp all my loads on the canelure with a seating die a a separate step.
Wish you all the best! I would be keen to read of your experiences.

Had one, but it's been a little while so I don't remember the exact loads. But I used H4831SC in the 100gr plus range with 400gr NF's and Swift A-Frames. I'm certain I didn't get over 105gr with either bullet. Accuracy was great with both.

Rule 303I applaud your decision. a lot of rifle for the money and for me it does not get any better than the 416Rigby.
98 grains of AR2209 410grain Woodleigh RNSP 2450fps and same load gets the the 400grain Hydrostatics out at 2550fps.
I use Hornady and Bertram brass.
