Surely we must all hang together, for separately we will all surely hang.

I was forced to stop using my tumbler due to the noise. My tumbler sounds like a blender with ball bearings in it. I've been using Birchwood-Casey Case Cleaner for about two years. It doesn't get the cases quite as shiny as a tumbler. It does get most of the crud off the outside and inside of the cases fairly quickly and painlessly. I load for several calibers and clean hundreds of cases a month. If a tumbler is not an option, this stuff might be. Cheaper than a tumbler too.
