Especially the .30 150 grain? What are your experiences with this bullet hunting-wise and accuracy-wise?

I can't say I have first hand experience with them but have read posts about them. The feeling I get is they are pretty explosive. If you like to blow the lungs out of a deer you'd probably like them. There are people that swear at nosler ballistic tips and those that love them. I'd say the bronze point was the forerunner and a duplicate in performance of the ballistic tip bullet.

I got about 150 in reloading deal shot 20 or so deer with them I would say they are a good deer bullet they expand on the fast side. I went to a 165 for deer for a little better penatration on the angle shots. They shot groups as well as my no. 1 06 would shoot them. As long as you want a fast expanding bullet on deer size game they work just fine.

The Bronzepoint has been failing for years from time to time they just explode on contact, especially at close range...I have had a number of failures with them form common calibers like the 30-06 and 270...They are very quick openning and either kill like the hammmer of Thor or fail miserably...I won't ever use another one.

The Remington Bronze point is a old design. The bronze tip was intended to act as a wedge to cause rapid expansion. This bullet may be the first early attempt at this design. This bullet will be difficult to locate and I think may have been discontinued. If this design goal is what you want, I'd suggest that you look at the Nosler Ballistic Tip. This bullet has a well earned rep for accuracy and is available. The polymer tip prevents point damage in the magazine. I hope that this will be of some help

Contrary to my better judgment, I helped a coworker find some. Midway stocks them. I have heard the stories of these bullets failing to penetrate. Ray, were the failures you witnessed with factory ammo or with hand loads?
