Fred BBarns Triple Shock
I have just done two pressure tests with two different rifles one .270 win and a 300 win.Has anyone noticed that with these bullets that the pressure seems to really increase while still at the min that the Barns reloading manuals say I know there are differences but I thought these bullets were supposed to reduce the pressure as there is less surface area in contact. The 270 - 55 gr of RL19 with 130grain triple x and 75 gr of RL19 in the 300 with a 168gr triple x.

RancherI've been using the 180 in an '06 with R22 and have been able to go right up to what the book calls max... Wonder if maybe you have a fast lot of R19 ??? I am using Lapua brass which I think will handle a bit more preasure than Win. or Rem.
How are the TS X's grouping for you ??

NorthSniperFred, if you don't mind paying a little more for a premium hunting bullet you can get the Barnes TSX in a lubriplated bullet.
http://www.lazzeroni.com/ct_lazerhead.htmPersonaly I have not had the chance to try these yet but if the electroplating works this could be the way to go.
