Has anybody got any experiance with the K&M line of reloading supplies? Specifically their Pro Flash Hole Uniformer, and Primer Seating Tool w/Guage. Are these Quality tools? And how do they compair with the likes of Sinclair.

Greyghost,

I have used their neck turnet for years, and it is a very well made tool. Some of the boys here prefer it to the Sinclair neck turner.

From what I understand, both companies produce quality products.

I own the K&M neck turner also. They put out quality stuff and back em up. At least the old owners did. Someone else bought em out I believe. sure-shot

Phil,
I don't have either their primer pocket uniformers or their priming tool. That said I do have both tools from Sinclair. Short review: The primer pocket uniformers work well, however, I thought there had been a mistake when I recieved the shipping envelope. Pure carbide from what I read though and should provide a duffer like me a lifetime of usage. The Sinclair priming tool is impressive enough when compared with the Lee Autoprime from which it was loosely based. The cnc machined stainless steel and aluminum are beyond reproach. As they should be for their bounty. Would recommend buying the entire set of lee autoprime shell holders from Sinclair to begin with. You get all of them and they've also been deburred and prepped for usage. Will say they both work as advertised and Sinclair is an absolute pleasure to do business with. It's such a neat experience to actually talk with an expert rather than a nice lady who has the same catalog you do;-). At any rate they are pricey, however, you get what you pay for I suppose. Fwiw, I bought the Sinclair units because of their mention by soo many benchrest and highpower competitors. Never heard anything one way or the other about K&M. Though I'm sure the make a quality tool. Regards, Matt.

I also have a K&M neck turner along with the expanding mandrals, Inside mouth deburring tool, and just bought one of his arbor presses. I have been very impressed with all the items I have from them.

They have been great to deal with, there are not many people these days that ship before receiving payment. Every order I have made to them the say "The invoice will be in the package, send us a check when you get it".

BTW K&M does not know me from Adam.

I prefer the K&M turner over the Sinclair. I have the K&M primmer seater love it to. The sinclair is better looking and built like a mac truck. I just bought the K&M because it was cheaper. Both company's have good stuff.

For now, ordered the Sinclair PT-2000 Stainless Primer Tool, and Lee Auto-Prime shell holder set. Wasn't to sure about the dial indicator on the K&M primer seater. But did order the K&M flash hole deburing tools. Does anybody have a website for K&M? Couldn't seem to find a link anywhere!

I have the turner--it's great. Also--I havethe super low angle mouth deburrer. I don't think I could load without the deburrer. You will never scratch the heal of a bullet again with this tool--Also helps alot when loading moly'd bullets and barnes xlc to keep the junk from peeling off.
