Paul5388Bill,
I have real doubts about how good a Norma manual would be. The powders aren't real easy to come by in my part of the world. The only dealer, that I know of, is Graf's and they didn't have any MRP the last time I checked.
Several years ago, I bought Weiderladen from Old Western Scrounger. In the order was included a letter from Hercules that said that the particular RL powders corresponded directly to certain Norma powders. It basically stated that both were made in the same factory. That apparently being the case, the Norma should be useful. I don't have the letter in front of me and don't remember which ones matched up.
I bought theNorma book recently and have only glanced at it.

PoucherThe matching powders are:
RL15 - Norma 203-B
RL19 - Norma 204
RL22 - Norma MRP
I use loaddata for RL powders when i cant find any for Norma. Here in Sweden Norma powders are sold in any hardwarestore, that sell any powder at all. I think both Norma and RL are made at the Bofors factory. They deliver powder for RWS as well, but i dont know which numbers are matching.
RL 15 - Norma 203 - RWS R903
RL 22 - Norma MRP - RWS R905
Not 100% sure, but I believe:
RL 19 - Norma 204 - RWS R904

lawndartGreat information arnstein!
Do you have any thoughts on the Bofors/RWS/Norma/Reloader designations for Norma MRP?
Thanks,
JCN
I pulled out my letter and as MHO said MRP=RL22.

monteroI have found Norma's Manual to be pretty interesting to read. Their data is specific for Norma powder which happen to be the ones which I like best among those I've tried.
I have found Norma203-B identical to Re-15 in the 6,5x57R with different bullet weights.
I have found Re-22 to be identical to MRP in two different 300 Winchester Mags and different bullet weights.
I have found Rotweil's 904 and 905 to be different, completely different, to Norma's 204 and 205.
Just my 2 pennies.

lawndartDuh,
It would help if I would actually read the posts more carefully. Thanks.

This is a copy of the letter sent out by OWS with my copy of Wiederladen.
The scribbling on the bottom is mine.

Straight from the horse's mouth!
