I have a RCBS case trimmer and need to trim down my 450NE. However, RCBS does not make shell plate thingy to fit a 450NE case. Aside from getting a new trimmer what can I do?

Surely there is a current holder close enough to work or that can be opened up with a file or Dremel tool. What is the diameter of your case heads? Call RCBS and ask what they recommend.

I did try RCBS and was told that they do not make a shell holder for that caliber.

I was kind of thinking that this was what I was going to have to do in the first place. Good info though, also good to know that I am not the only one with this problem.

If you have a shooting friend with a lathe, why not offer him some kind of quid pro quo to make you one? It is very easy to do and takes very little time. A trade for some brass he needs, or taking him somewhere to shoot at something he enjoys should be enough, I'd think.
