UltramanNeed Subsonic Load for 300 Win Mag
would appreciate hearing from those who have actually done it. Im needing to capture a barnes solid as undamaged as possible after firing through different barrels hence why Im wanting as low a velocity as possible. I have unique and bullseye powders on hand and read that those work well but also read about bullets getting stuck and pressure issues. If you ave done this I would appreciate your experience.

seafire2Find some Trail Boss.. meant for Cowboy Action guys.. usually means 800 to 1200 fps in a long gun...just don't compress the load, is the only restriction told by the factory...

SaeedWe have used UNIQUE for many calibers, all the way to the 577 T.Rex.
I suggest you use Kapok as filler over the powder - again, that is what we use.
30 grains should work in that case.

Nordic2I once read on this forum a big box with cotton would stop bullets undamaged.
