Re: Midway shipping
Don't forget Russ Haydon's shooters supply. Russ is a good guy who supports the shooting sports, and is knowledgeable and helpful. His prices are reasonable, and he deserves to be on the good guy list. http://www.shooters-supply.com/

I used to be a regular customer of Midway.....until they changed their shipping policy. I have not ordered a single thing from them since then! And don't intend to. I've always felt that, as a generalization, they were overpriced to begin with and quality on some of their propietary items was suspect to say the least.

Graf & Sons pays for ALL shipping to the lower 48 with $4.75 handling fee only, with a $20 minimum. Their prices are competive and service is good. If you qualify for an industry discount, you still only pay actual shipping costs.

Of course Brownells' operates the same way with no minimum order required.

Thanks for bring this up as I was just about to place an order with Midway. Now I will go somewhere else. I support competitive pricing all the time.

Midway has two prices on most things, and $2k/ year means nothing toward getting the low price. They want an FFL , biz licence, etc, and I don't have it.

So I get it cheaper some where else.
