RL-15
I spoke with the Alliant Powder Grouch today.
One of the questions that I asked was if they were going to start shipping RL-15 again?

He told me that they were having trouble making it. Which translates to Norma isn't supplying them with powder to repackage as RL-15. They apparently can't come up with a substitute!

Do not fear! Just buy Norma 203B. Just another batch of 203B that is repackaged by Alliant as RL-15.

I've made it my life mission to send Alliant a question through their web site on a regular basis to ask them when they're going to start cranking out some RL15. Goes without saying but they've never responded. Maybe we need a huge campaign doing the same.

So does this mean that Norma powders are going to become as hard to find as Ramshot powders?

Bullets are pretty worthless. All they do is hang around waiting to get loaded.

Western is the exclusive Distributor for Norma in the USA and Canada per a new Agreement between the companies is the looks of it.

Sometimes they crank out some RL powders that are less consistent lot to lot in the results for the same loads.

While I have seen it, it has got me less as I haven't loaded it as much as some. Some of buddies love RL and then they hate RL powders when it changes.

Buy Norma? I haven't seen any Norma powder for a year and all the local places say they can't get it. I have been looking for some 202 for a LONG time.

I don't want to order it; hazardous material fee makes it cost too much.

dpcd: it depends on how much stuff you order on line if it cost to much. I ordered some stuff from natchez shooters supply in november.. 4-H4350 and 2-IMR4064. alone with some other stuff. primers, tips, and other.. ended up with about $25.00 per pound of powder. its cost that or higher at gun shows or local if you can find it.. i got lucky on this..

I just made my Saturday morning run by a couple of local gun shops and bought 4 pounds of RL15 and three pounds of RL22. I paid 21.99/lb for RL15 and 24.95/lb for the RL22. That is the first RL22 I have seen in almost a year. I have another dealer over toward Charlotte that is holding 5lbs of RL25 for me to pick up. That dealer is also trying to get me more RL22.
