Pop,

While I was on safari in the Eastern Cape, my PH personally invited Gerard and Gina to speak to me and bring my some bullets. During our discussion, I am pretty sure they mentioned some US distributors. I know there was one in TX but he backed out of their arrangement recently.

I was even able to go to their shop where Gerard actually loaded some ammo for me to use on my safari....took a very nice Black Wildebeest with his ammo.

I sent Gina an email and I will see what her answer is on the distributors?

Santala is selling a pretty wide variety of their bullets over in the classified section. You might take a look and see if you see something you'd like.

Personally, I don't see why anybody would go through the trouble of working up loads with GS bullets until a reliable supply was assured.

To each his own though.

I agree. At least we have the closest thing to it. The groove bullets!

As you are probably aware, there was a US Distributer, HV Concepts in Texas. He posted as "Benchrest" on AR. I have personally bought from him and had excellent dealings with him. He no longer represents GS Custom. Our loss.

In the AR "Classifieds", Santala an AR member, is selling some of his personal stock of GS bullets. Also in the "Classifieds", Benchrest dba HV Concepts,Inc. is liquidating his remaining inventory. Both offer excellent prices.

I e-mailed them about a week or so ago and recieved a reply on Monday from Gina...that advised...They do not have a U.S. distributor....exchange rates being a problem as relateds to pricing/cost??

Gina, advised they I could order direct...

I do not care to do that...I guess I will wait until they have a U.S. Distributor...if that happens...

Benchrest,

I meant nothing by "backed out" as I only knew you were no longer in buisness with them from your post on the Classified forum. I apologize if I made it sound as if you backed out on them...I simply meant you are no longer a distributor.

GS mentioned you as a dealer, and at that time you were. I visited with them June of this year.

John, the truth is that without product, a distributor is not much of a distributor.

Even though Benchrest prepaid with his orders, GS elected to continue supplying other orders (including US consumers) before supplying their distributor. What is a distributor to do without product? Dutch.
