You already have perfect elk medicine...no need to change.

I have loaded both Accubonds and the TSX in my 300wm. I used H4350, I don't remember the charge, but it was a stiff one. Both shot to the same POI.I have killed elk and deer with both bullets

H4350 worked great with the 180 tsx's in my load testing.

Personally I'd buy a box of 168 tsx and 180 tsx...start with near top loads of slow burners and pick the best shooter....the 168 will be enough bullet.

I have been shooting 70 gr IMR4350 with 180gr.
It only does 3000 fps from a 24" barrel.
I need to step it up a notch and distinguish myself from the 30-06s at the range.

This is good advice. There's only 12 less grains of copper. So far, I've done more with the 168TSX than any other TSX and it works very well.

If a 7mag with a 160 partition can dump an 850# elk at over 400 yards, a 168TSX from a 300 WM would be just as impressive.

The 7mm 160 gr bullet has a higher sectional density than the 168 gr. 308 bullet and as such, will penetrate more. I would opt for the 180 or 200 gr. in the 300 winnie.
