How good is Honady brass? I'm a big fan of Norma brass but was thinking of using the Hornady for purely practice. Full power load developement and hunting would still be done with Norma brass.

I love it. It's all I use and never had a single issue. Comes annealed and is pretty sexy.

How does the capacity compare to the Norma?

Don't know. The only other brass that I have for it is some BELL. Haven't measured either.

But then again I'm not trying to move the bullet too fast. I use Varget and am going about 2220 fps with 500grn Swift A-Frames. Don't have the powder amount here.

2220 fps seems to me to be where the Lott was intended to play at and I'm not too compressed (if at all).

Just found the powder weight. 80.5 of Varget.

Midway has it on sale now for $47.49. A buck of the regular price.
