7mm STW Loads
Was hoping someone may have some good recipes for the 7 STW using 50 BMG or Retumbo and 160 Nosler Accubonds. Any other suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

I don't use the powders mentioned, but I've had good luck with 77grs of Reloader-22 and 160gr Accubonds and 154gr Hornady Interbonds.

Try the "Find" function at the top of this page and type in 7stw. You'll find a lot of info for your query. I love the 160 Accubond over H1000.

Sorry can't help you. I had tried 5010 in mine. Found that RL22 & 7828 gave basically the same velocity with about 12-15grs less and in my rifle much more accurate.

As usual just my $.02

Here's another vote for 7828 in the STW.

Trying US869. Worked up to 91 grains under a 160 Accubond. Not much info on the combination. Looks to be a half grain above max. Will see what's accurate.

P.S., Nosler brass, Winchester magnum primers.

FIL's load : [ Actually Federal factory load / 160 grain bullet shot great!]

150 grain Ball Tip (Nosler) and 72 grains H4831.
IMR 7828 shot worse (his pre-64 action rebarreled).

This combination shot extremely well out of my rifle and averaged 3175 fps at the muzzle. Good luck to everyone.
