How do I get rid of Static in my Powder Measure ? I happens every time when I’m unloading the Powder back in the container that some powder remain in the measurer due to Static’s !
Isn’t there some kind of spray of something available ?

I have noticed this to happen as well

I seems mine stopped doing that after awhile. Is yours new? I think with some use the graphite coats the sides enough to limit the static cling. JMHO

Try wriping it down with one of those anti cling sheets that you put in the dryer.

Is it a clear plastic tube that holds the powder? If so, remove it and try washing it out with hot water with liquied dishwashing detergent in it. This has always worked for me.

Yes...it‘s brand new and it has clear plastic tube !
I’ll try washing it with hot water and detergent as you recommend El Deguello

Washing works well, I`ve found it helps to let the tube air dry after. The drier sheet trick also has worked for me on scale pans, powder funnels, ect.

If the problem persists, try grounding the measure.

Another Rube Goldberg method I have seen is to put a large paper clip on the top end of the tube... the metal in the paper clip will attract the static...

Can't verify if it works 100% like the dryer sheets do.... but it might be worth a shot also...

you won't be wasting much time if you do....

my wife puts a metal safety pen on some of her skirts at times.. when she is wearing nylons, and it absorbs the static generated by the nylons so she doesn't have her skirt clinging all funny... same theory.. but it works for her...

While on the subject of those dryer sheets.. another tip I picked up and since we run into tons of them being involved with Boy Scouts with my son... in back country or out doors, if Mosquitos are a problem.. a dryer sheet safety pinned to your shirt, will keep mosquitos away...

my son and wife get eaten alive by them, and their skin really swells at eat bite location...

the dryer sheet trick really works for them to keep mosquitos at bay.....

I used powdered graphite on a cotton cloth to wipe the plastic interior of my brand new Redding measure. NO more clinging kernels of powder.
When my RCBS progressive press was new the powder clinged to the inside of the powder reservoir but this phenomena gradually disappeared by itself probably due to the graphite coating rubbing off on to the container walls.

A couple of questions about your anti bug system:

Is it just the ordinary anti static pads you just throw in the dryer that you use?

Would this work for sandflies as these are a big bother for some over here?

I might give it a go and if it works we can try a few with the girls next time. I will have to convince then to leave their shirts on as without the pads it may not work so well or can they just pin then to their bikini pants or thongs and still get good coverage.

+1 for stillbeeman's comment. Wipe it down with a static free sheet used in the clothes dryer.

Another thing, that works for me is:

When you're done with a reloading session, empty the powder reservoir and store a dryer sheet in the reservoir until the next time you reload.

What brand of dryer sheets are you guys using?? I tried Bounce, and it don't work, at all. I have several powder measures; a Lyman an RCBS, and an old Bonanza pistol measure.... Bounce sheets don't work worth a crap on any of them.

The ones that I have are called Snuggle!

I couldn't really tell you if I've used other brands, I just use what my wife has on hand!

I`ve used a used a Bounce sheet in the past and it helped. The best cure I have found is a wipe or two with a towel dampened in dish soap and water. Don`t rinse, and let it air dry. The soap leaves a fine film I believe, and that is enough to break the statics bond. Some recommened washing then wipeing after with the drier sheet but I have not found that nessacary usually. Dry air will help static form. A humidifier will help keep it at bay especially in the winter when air is drier then normal to start. A/C in the summer also drys the rooms air out. You may want to shut the air vent and open a window a crack when loading if the breeze won`t hit your bench and mess with your scale.
The graphite from the powder will over time coat the inside of your measure and the problem should end. You could run powder through the measure while watching TV and see if it helps. Stick powders flow better then ball of course and a few dozen measures full may cure the problem, out the need to wash and wipe.

Get the static cling spray that your wife uses on her slips. It works like a charm. Jim
