PondoroLoading the .280 Flanged NE..
Have any of you ever loaded for this round..?
I have a double with an extra set of barrels in this calibre..
Perhaps load-data for .280 Ross might be useful..?

GrenadierThe bore may well be .287" and not .284". The 280 Flanged (280 Lancaster) is loaded to lower velocities than the 280 Ross.
I have no experience with this cartridge and cannot suggest a load. However, I have found a reference in my library.

2152hqTry the Ross Rifle Forum
http://rossrifle.com/forum/In the 'Sporter' section there's usually a couple of threads on reloading the 280 Ross.
The 280 Lancaster is the rimmed version of the 280 Ross & I'm lead to believe is loaded to less velocity then the 280 Ross,,,but it may give you some useful info.
