duplicate 7mm-08 factory load

I recently gave my brother a Win Mod 70 Fwt in 7mm-08 that shoots 3/4" groups at 100 yds using Winchester 140 grain factory loads. He wants me to reload his cases for him and duplicate the WW factory loading. Anyone know what the folks at the WW factory are using in this loading?

I'd imagine W748. Pull apart a factory load, examine the powder type, then weigh the charge.

Ken Waters in his Pet Loads thought it was W760. What ever it is you can be sure it`s not a canister grade powder. The factories blend their own powders to get the results they want for a given cartridge.

If it shoots that well with factory ammo, then the next time it goes on sale, tell him ot buy a case...
