sundogWell, if you already hand load, it should not be a problem. Norma brass is available from several suppliers, or you can reform 30-06 or 8x57 by running it thru the FL sizer and then fire forming. The '06 brass will need to be trimmed, but the 8x57 will actually be a little short. I shoot cast in my Arisaka, the Ly 314299, which is the same for the .303 Brit. Dies are available from several makers, but unless you have a super whiz bang accurate rifle, the Lee dies will suffice just fine (read $'s). Load data is available from several sources. sundog

<eldeguello>If you have a set of 7.7X58mm Jap dies, loading it is just the same as any other botlenecked rifle round. Use .311" to .314" bullets. A number of manuals have data for this round.
