Thanks Crimp. 4227 has been around longer than I have.

seafire/B17GWell Hopefully it is only H 4227 they are dropping and will keep IMR 4227 around since they both are the same burn rates...
As I learn today also, one of my stocking local retail suppliers is dropping all of its Sierra bullet lines.... after just recently dropping my favorite Ballistic tips in the weights I shoot in 6.5 mm, 270 and 338/06....
I think me liking something becomes it's "kiss of death".....

Seafire. I think we are in the same boat and it's sinking fast. My favorite powder for the .300 Win. mag. is Winchester's WMR. Fortunately, I have what I hope will be a lifetime supply. Sierra dropped their 170 gr. 7MM round nose. Again, I got lucky and found 5 boxes at a gun show. My Ruger #1B in .300 Win. mag. will only give decent groups with the Nosler 200 gr. semi round nose bullet they dropped quite a few years back.
Looks like we do have something in common.

Terry BlauwkampLast I heard, WMR is the same at Rel 22, just put in a Winchester canister.
