Good way to load at the range. No press or anything complicated like scales, or a powder measure.
Jus bring a big sledge hammer...

actually, i use a small mallet with hard rubber at one end and hard yellow plastic on the other. works jsut right.

also, i caution against "banging away;" that's a good way to misalign bullets, set off primers while priming and also ruin case mouths. a few light taps are more than enough for sizing, priming and seating.

i now use the auto prime, so priming is not an issue, but other than for convenience, there really is no reason not to use the system provided by the lee loader.

Back in the early 1970's when benchrest shooting, all of the guys loaded at the renge using similar dies, along with a rawhide mallet. In fact, some of them used the same dies in the video made by Lee.
I still have the rawhide mallet I used back then. I still seat bullets with Wilson seaters, but size using regular 7/8-14 dies.

Yep...thats it tasunkawitko.

I also tap a lot less vigorously.I can load easily in a minute.But I`m never in a hurry anyway,as I let the rifle cool between shots.

Case prep cleaning trimming neck sizing neck turning primer pocket conditioning ?.

Who needs all that fancy stuff to go Boom . Then of course one could always buy Mil Surplus Ammo

and fore go any of it . Everyone's good with 4.00"-6.00" groups out of Asian Surplus right

Heck I loaded for my first two rifles that way. Then stepped up to add a scazle so I could be more accurate with the powder. Nothing but a simple neck sizer.
