I've just ordered some for my .300 win and 200 grains bullets.

I would just like to hear if anyone would/could share some exsperiens in this powder - E.g. does it deliever the performance thet they claim on Normas website etc.

I've tried it in 6.5x55, .270 Win and .308 Norma. It seems to do just what they claim, be a slower-than-MRP extremely accurate powder. It's too slow for light bullet loads in these chamberings though.

It is not easily obtainable in my part of the world..Been trying to get some, no luck as yet...but we do have IMR 7828 an H-1000.

POP - are you sure that RL 25 is the same powder?
To my knowledge the Alliant powders are double base Norma powders single base.
I'm aware that the powders are made the same place but that doesn't make them identical.

In my .300 win the RL 22 gives higher vel. than MRP, and RL 19 gives higher vel. than N204 - so franckly I don't think that you're right.

According to the company rep I spoke to (about a year ago) RL 22 is identical in burning rate to MRP. When "wonder powder RL25" came out that is the same time that MRP2 came out. The rep did say that this is applicable to all new lots. I meant to say identical burning rates not necessarily identical powders. (Sorry for not clarifying OOOPS!) I have an old lot of MRP which acts the same as IMR 7828....go figure!
