According to the Nosler manual, you should get a load in that velocity range with these:

47 gr. IMR 4895

49 gr. IMR 4320 *

48 gr. IMR 4064

47 gr. Viht N140 *

50 gr. Viht N150 *

53 gr. Win 760 (a ball powder)

55.5 gr. AA3100 *

(The * means that this load was the most accurate one, in Nosler's tests, for that particular powder.)

In Nosler's tests, they used Winchester brass and WLR primers.

Is it for a Garand? If so, stick with faster powders like 4895 or 4064

I use to use 48.5 gr. IMR-4895 with the 168 Sierra. According to the manuals, that's a little hot but it never caused a problem in my Garand or in a Model 70. If you're going to use a 150-155 gr bullet, I see no problem.
