Anax/Vmax performance differences on game
Will I notice any difference in these two bullets performance on coyotes under 2oo yards?

Probably not. Both will tear dogs up pretty badly.

I shoot deer with the 140 grain AMAX in 6.5. Great bullet

I would expect the V-max to have little penetration, it may literally shred itself apart on impact, where as the A-Max, designed for target shooting, will be more likely to penetrate though, unless it hits bone.

Will also depend on velocity--at higher velocities, I agree with vapodog, you may not see much difference

I sectioned the two and found no difference in construction.

Are they comparable to similar weight ballistic tips? Under 200 yards will they have any advantage over the light hollow points such as Hornady's 75 grain bullet for the 6MM?
