Fundamentals of Interior Ballistics - Powley & Howell
"Fundamentals of Interior Ballistics" was close to being published several years back. Has anyone heard anything recently? My deposit was refunded sometime back but since it was fairly close to publication I was wondering if someone else had picked up the ball and run with it.

I have never seen a book? Its been stated over the years that Powleys interior ballistic calculations were inacurate, and would not work at calculting pressures and other variables

This was a book that Ken Howell had intended on publishing several years back. The last I had heard it kinda just fell off the grid. I dug through some old paperwork and found the chapter titles:

• Symbols and Equations
• Basic Chemistry and Physics
• How Gases Behave
• Basic Chemistry of Explosives
• Basic Physics of Explosives
• Air Guns
• Explosion of Powder
• Burning Rates
• Bullet Travel
• Pressure and Energy
• Change of Pressure
• Pressure and Temperature
• Primers
• Pressure and Erosion
• The Bullet and the Barrel
• Recoil
• Strength of Barrels
• Estimating Velocity
• Estimating Pressures
• Corrosion
• Ballistics Terms
• Conversion of Units
• Bibliography
• Index
