ghostrider2726 mm loads
I was wondering if anyone had any good loads for a 6mm Rem. Have a Rem 7600 Special Run in 6 mm on hold and will be acquiring in a week. Looking to reload for coyote and looking for some ideas. Thanks!

K Di loaded up some 55 gr Noslers for a 6mm Rem 788 and they are accurate and deadly on small game (feral cats). my load was nothing special, from Noslers manual, 48 gr of IMR 4831, a Rem 9 1/2 primer and a 6mm WW case. I sorta stumbled on this load, i did not have any other more suitable powders in stock so i used this load and gave them to my brother to shoot. He came back for more.

LE270I have found my 6mm -- a Remington 700 heavy barrel Varmint Special, the older one with pressed-in checkering on the stock -- to be persnickity about powder. The best I've found for it is IMR 4064. My best load uses about 41 gr. of that powder with the 70 gr. Sierra Matchking bullet. I've also gotten very good results with Berger bullets, molly coated, from 65 to 90 grains, again with IMR 4064 powder.
H 380 powder also gave me very good results, but I got some slight hangfires with it using Federal 210 primers.
I won the only rifle match I've ever entered using this combination of 70 gr. Matchking, 41 gr. IMR 4064, Remington brass, Federal 210 primer -- it was a member's match at the Morgan Hill Club in Kingston, NY.
I haven't been able to get this rifle to shoot 100 grain bullets well, but I admit that I gave up on them after a few tries when the results did not please me.
