<Dalton>Hornady Custom Dies
I finally broke down and bought a Hornady Custom die set in 222 Rem. I think these things are junk.
I can't get the depriming/sizing rod in the full length die to stay in place. After about 10 cases it ends up getting stuck no matter how hard I tighten it down. And if you tighten it down too much, you destroy the cheap rubber O ring they use to hold the whole apparatus in place.
Also the depriming pin is absolutely impossible to change. Is this this supposed to be welded in place?
I am used to buying quality products from Hornady and I hope that these dies are not glimpse of what's to come.

<Don Martin29>Yea, Now read my thread here in "Reloading" "Hornady Floating Type Seating Die". Look for it on page 2 as of now. I sent mine back yesterday. The FL die was not really used but just to neck size. It did not touch the body of the new unprimed cases at all! I thought the expanding button was good!
From what I have seen I am buying RCBS and Redding right now.
Look at a RCBS Case Master. It measures runout, etc. It's just right for a reloading enthusiast.
