Load remington 375 bullets

I was into a local place, and got a bargin on a small lot of vintage .375 RN bullets. Nothing too unusual, except there were two boxes of very old Remington .375 RN-SP 270 grain. Where these well thought of back in the day, and is there any reason not to use them?

Odds are they were made by Hornady and they work just fine for Plains game.
