vapodogI bought a Gracey years ago.....it was for high volume shooting and I wanted it for prasiriedogging with the .223. I have a Dillon 650 set up just for this round.....to make a long story short...it turned out I had to first FL resize the case to do the trimming.....totally defeating my operation......nice tool.....not fitting the criteria.....at least for me!
It's the only reloading tool I ever returned to the supplier for credit!

djpaintlesI tried 2 different Gracey's and didn't care for the way they worked. Holding the cases into the cutter eventually got my fingers cramping.
I bought a Dillon trim attachment for my 650 and I liked it FAR better. The case feeder runs them through almost as fast as you can crank the handle. I did several thousand 223 cases in an hour or two. The one caveat being is that you still have to chamfer and deburr them. Can't really say if having the superior speed of the case feeder makes up for doing the deburring separately but since I always use a VLD cutter anyway I just put a vld cutter in an RCBS case prep center and deburr away.
Some people really seem to like the Gracey but if possible I'd try one out before I bought one if I were you. Also I would strongly recommend you take a solid look at the Dillon if you already have a dillon press...........................DJ
