.30-30 crimping
Realized I will need to crimp my .30-30 loads for the tubular magazine -- do you prefer using the seating die, or the Lee Factory Crimp die?

How hard do you crimp it?

either one will do...Crimp lightly or you will bulge the shoulder and have feeding problems...The Lee crimper is hailed my many but I have not tried it.

A moderate roll crimp with the standard die is just fine.

I find the crimper in the seating die works fine, just trim all your cases to the same length. I use 35gr of H335 and a 150gr Speer, my M94 Win will put 5 shots in an 1" at 100yds with the open sights.
