270 weatherby questions

I bought a Win model 70 270 winchester from a gunsmith friend of mine that rechambered the rifle to 270 weatherby mag. My question is where is the best place to buy brass for 270 weatherby? It's almost more expensive to buy brass for than my 338 ultra mag. Or can I have my gunsmith install a different barrel and a block in the mag well to make it a 270 wsm? Just wondering what to do as it's my wife's elk hunting rifle this year.

I have some made by Weatherby that I will probably never sell.

Check my website, the only other option is to shoot ammo, but that makes things even more expensive.
