Who makes Remington's " AccuTip" bullet. Does Big Green make this bullet or is it just contracted by Hornady, making it an SST with a gold tip???

Just wondering.

I wondered that too. Looked like the smaller Hornady tip.

Doesn't it also say in Deuteronomy what foods not to eat, like an animal with cloved hooves but does NOT chew it's cud...ie, pork??

Like the other guys said, it is just a Hornady SST with a different colored tip.

Remington used to us Nosler Ballistic Tips but they had a falling out some time back.

I was in the Nosler factory about a year ago and they were not very happy about it.

One thing that might be worth considering is if the bullet is made by Hornady but to Remington specifications.

I think Barnes X bullets that were loaded in PMC ammo were different to the normal Barnes X.

It looks very similar to the SST but, it doesn't have the Inter-lock ring like the red tipped SSTs.

Don't know why they don't make them the same.

Thanks for all the replys. I think I will pass on these bullets. I have never been able to get the SST's to group well either. Right now I am shooting 150gr NBT's out of my .308win, and it's sub MOA so why change, right.
