Sierra .30-30 load data
I don't usually do this, but can someone help me out with Sierra load data for the 125-gr Pro Hunter flat nose hollowpoint in .30-30? I cannot lay my hands on a manual and I am headed out on a powder quest tomorrow and I need to know what to look for. Would appreciate any help.

For the light bullet, IMR 3031 is a great choice.

IMR 4895, 4064, 3031. Re7, Re12. H4198, 322. AA2230, 2460, 2520. 748. Sierra lists all of these as suitable for their 125 HPFN.

I run 4895 with the 130 TSX & TTSX.

RL-7 and 3031 are also top candidates with the lightweights.

The Sierra manual uses 33.8 grs of Viht N135 for their "accuracy" load and 32.5 grs of H322 for their "hunting" load.

When in doubt you can always call them at 1-800-223-8799. They are very helpful.

Speer, Sierra, Lyman, Hornady, Hodgdon have reliable reloading data. You won't find it on so and so's web page.
