Gonzo FreakPowerAny success w/ 200gr AccuBond in 300WinMag?
I'll soon be trying these little white-tip wonders and wondered if anyone has a few recipes to share.
My preferred components (those currently on hand) are:
RL-22 (pounds of it)
WLRM primer (almost 1,000)
Remington cases, twice fired (100 cases ready to go)
I also have some IMR-4350, enough for maybe 15-20 rounds. I'd really appreciate any notes on performance (3.340" OAL and 24" barrel).
This seems to be an ideal Elk bullet, good from 50 to 400 yards. Hope it shoots as well as I'm expecting it to.

300winnieMy pet load consists of the aforementioned 200 grain accubond teamed with:
Once fired/neck sized W-W Brass
Federal 215 Match
80.0 grains of H1000
C.O.L. of 3.565"
Average of 10 shots was 3038 fps.
Same 10 shots all went into 1.1"
I tried Retumbo as well. Got really good velocity, but could not get it to group.
Looks like it is going to be a wonderful mouse to moose bullet.
Good luck.
