N133 in .22 centre fires........
I see that IMR 4227 and IMR 4198 are often used in small .22 centre fire such as .22 Hortet, etc.

I used N133 in my .444 Marlin my reason for using it was its close to IMR 4198 i believe its between IMR 4227 and IMR 4198.

I would be intersted in any experince of N133 in .22 centre fires........

Many thanks

133 is excellent in .222 .223, .223 AI, 22ppc. Those are the ones I have experience with. ...ol blue

I found that N-133 is the powder of choice in the following claibers:

.17 Remington with 20 grain bullet
5.56x50R Magnum with 50 grain bullet
7mm Benchrest with 160 to 175 grain bullets

It is "usable" in around 119 other different loads, but will not list them all here...

I can confirm the excellent experiences made with N133 in the .222 Rem. I used 50 grain bullets, deadly on fox with little destruction on the pelt. Ill give the Sierra Gamekings in 55 grain a try one of these days. My gun was a Anschtz bolt action.

I have found that N-133 is the most accurate powder I have used in my TIKKA 223. It is the one and only powder for me in 223.

Ditto to the comments regarding N133 and the 222. I have found a very accurate load using this powder and 40 gr. v-max bullets. Good luck.

Thank you gentleman for telling me of your use of N133. I have to say i did not expect it, as 99 % of load data for for many popular rounds are with American powders. An example was when i was looking into reloading for my .444 and heavy hard cast bullets. Not that there is any thing wrong with American powders it just for me VihtaVuori is cheaper plain and simple................

My current project is with the .218 BEE and N133 and 45,46,50 gn bullets..... just starting out. I use N133 in my .444 so it will be handy if i can get good results with in in the .218 BEE
Any ideas......
