Using 130 grn .308 win bullets ?

Need a light load for my wife to shoot in a Blr 81
Would the 130's work on deer ? What would be a good load ? I shot a few varmits with the 130 hps but have no experience on deer with them.

Have used the Nosler 125 gr. BT @2400fps with good results. The Speer manual has redused loads for the .308. I am talking deer in the 200lb or less range.
