Samuel_HoggsonAll kinds of data in old Speer manuals and Hercules/Alliant manuals. What are you looking for, specifically? ETA found a 2005 pdf with what you want for data on my hard drive. PM your email and will send it along.

Joe from So. Cal.Years ago I used to load jacketed bullets in my .357 using Blue Dot and data from Speer #11. Pretty warm data. These days I only load hardcast lead at medium speeds so I haven't re-upped any more Blue Dot powder.
If you need any info from that manual, lemme know.

georgeldI've never used Blue Dot, but use lots of Red Dot, most of what I load in .38 are cast plinkers anywhere from 3.0-5gr. Usually 3.5-4.0gr. Good loads. I shoot 'em by the thousands. When I cast, I fill a 2 gallon bucket with bullets. A couple times a year sometimes isn't enough.
For bullet material I just pick pellets from the berms and recycle it as is. others have already gone thru the hassles of making hard cast metal. I figure since they've done so, why should I mess with it too.
They come out hard enough I can barely mark a bullet with my thumb nail and they don't lead a smooth bore. Of course if the bore isn't smooth they'll pick up some leading. To solve that, just run a few thousand more thru it and they'll smooth it out.
