Makers of "Solids" with Driving Bands -- Who?
Besides the "cup-nose" in development by North Fork and the GS bullets, does anyone else produce solids that are made with driving bands?

Thanks.

I'd love to, but I don't see an option for English and I can't read whatever language that is.

Thanks anyway.

Sorry,
I'd thought they had fixed an english version by now.
"uper kulan"is a copper bullet weighing 104,5 grs
it is only made in 6,5mm so far as it is made for swedish national shooters.
The "Entox" bullet is quite interrsting as it is a steel bullet of VERY soft steel, it is actually softer than copper/zink jackets.
I have shoot some 1000 bullets and can not see any more wear than with copper bullets.
Both bullets are developement to replace lead as it is not especially envioromental freindly,as claimed by some.
Sorry for language problem, please do not hesitate to ask for help if You want more translation. [Smile]

Good shooting

TCCI Bronze bullets have one or two bands that touch the rifling, however, close to half of the bullet still touches the rifling. I have used them in my 460 Wby with excellent results. The barrel stays cooler than when I use copper bullets. Also, the bullets are very accurate and punch through paper like wadcutters. They are available from Huntingtons.

Very interesting. I do not speak Swedish, but it it clear that they hav two bullets in 6.5 mm.

One is copper "Super Kulan" :
104,5 grn, with 47 grn N160 it's 922 m/sec.
It costs 2.30 Kroner a piece.

The other is "Entox Kulan":
100 grn, - it's easy to find the loaddata.
It costs 1.50 Kroner.

Both prices are introdutopry, and 1 Swedish Kroner is =.10242 $US today.

Really interesting, but more interesting may be the answer to the question: from where can I get them ?

I had someone check for me, and they apparently only come in 6.5mm, which I don't own. Now, if they had them in 7mm, .308, or something else I have, I'd probably get some.

I forgot to mention that the "Entox" is a steel bullet. They quote a Vickers hardness figure less than copper.
