DutchTrophy bonded by Speer?
Was surfing this morning, and ran accross a heading on the vendor page at Graf's named "Trophy Bonded Bullets by Speer", which leads to "bear claws"......... A sign or things to come, or cruel tease..? FWIW, Dutch.

<bigcountry>You got it. Just called Graf to order some and they said the owner just died a few weeks ago and Federal/Speer bought them out. Unfortunately, this caused a kink in things and she said they won't be able to get any for a few weeks due to the changeover. Maybe their price will go down.

DutchBig Country, I knew that the fellow that developed the TBB died (more than a few weeks ago, more like several months). I knew Federal made their own for their TBBC loads since before then. I had not heard definitively that they decided to market the TBBC as a component.
It just surprised me that Blount (now Alliant Tech systems) chose the Speer label, rather than the Federal label.
In either case, I am VERY glad to see they picked up the ball. TBBC's are a VERY good bullet, and with the Speer QC, better than ever. FWIW, Dutch.

RalphThe latest issue of American Hunter has a blurb in the new product section stating that Bearclaws and Federal deepshock bullets will be available as components.
