LNL AP Feeding 223's upside down!
I have a Hornady LNL AP and I started out loading 9mm with it. It worked awesome! Now I have done the conversion to 223 and the case feeder drop more upside down than right side up! Please help!????

Close the "window" opening by loosening the screw and tapping the metal window a bit more closed.
May take some trial and error but it will work.

A second thought-no offense meant--do you have the right shell plate in the hopper- did you swap out small pistol for small rifle?

Sorry...what screw and window? As for the plate, yes, I was loading 9mm perfectly. Decided to "prep" some 223's so I took the brand new small rifle plate out of the sealed box so it should better be the correct one Wink

I will go down to the reloading room later today and take a pix for you.

OK
Tried to get pix off my cell phone and I failed miserably so here goes--the window I am talking about is the slot on the front of the hopper that holds the cases and has the sliding metal plate to adjust the opening-loosen the Allen head screw- tap the plate -probably need to close it a bit- and see if the cases do not now drop down butt first as they should.

Best I can do.
