reindeer165 gr. Accubond
Up till now I have used VITH. N150 with 150 gr. bullets and N160 with 180-200 gr. bullets.
I tried N160 with 150 gr. bullets, but experienced severe muzzle blast, so I guess N160 is too slow for 150 gr. bullets.
I would like to load 165 and 180 gr. Accubonds with one and the same powder, so would N160 be a good choice here?
Of the VV powders, N160 would be a very sensible choice for 165 and 180 grs bullets.

wildboar....you forgot to mention the cartridge; I would guess 30-06?

reindeerYes, I am sorry; it is a 30-06 indeed!

wildboarThe N160 is a little slow for the 30-06, even with heavy bullets; N150 and N550 are a better choice; the N550 will make you gain 25-30 m/s.

I agree. My rifle likes the N550 as far as VV is concerned.
