skb2706Imagine a third world country that has enough time to worry about 'handloaded ammo' but not enough concern for its people to make an attempt to feed them.

Indychris4t1Mag-
How did you learn that reloading is illegal in Belize? I travel to Belize on a somewhat frequent basis and I've never come across that information. I'm not doubting you- it's just that I've never searched for it, so I am curious as to how the law reads.
Thanks!

Savage99There were a couple of guys on HA for a while from Russia who said that they could not load rifle ammo but could load shot shells.

4t1magINDYCHRIS...I went on the Their Embassy Site,
when i thought about going there,And was curious about taking Firearms into the Country.
And the reloading item came up in a list of
what you could not bring in.If you were going to
become a resident.

458RugerNo1When you suggest the idea of laws prohibiting the reloading of ammo I can't help but think of the following quote...

30-06 Ruger M77/MkII

butchloc: We're already halfway to that: one of the major suppliers refuses to ship bullets & cases to my SF office address.

Russ BrumbelowCalifornia thinks they set the rules for this country dont they. Everything you read says "Product known to cause cancer to the State of California". I say SCREW California.

Leo L.Sorry to bust your bubble but there's lots of shooting, hunting & reloading going on in California.

WirekPoland. I am unfortunate to live here and all I can say is, that officially it is not forbidden, but reloading when you can't buy any components is quite challenging task. It's not impossible though.

skb2706Most of the shooting and hunting in CA happens in south central LA.

Thanks, 4t1-
I'm just somewhat surprised. It's not at all uncommon to see guys riding their bicycles down the street with rifles strapped to their backs. I wonder if it's legislation geared toward forcing people to support their local economy? I'll be down there the first week of April on a Missions trip. I'll have to do some checking around. We regularly deal with the National gov't officials for licensing issues for an orphanage outside of Belize City. I shouldn't have too much trouble getting some more info.
thanks.
