Wondering if anyone has tried Reloader22 with 180gr bullets in the .300 H&H. If ya did, what kind of max charge and velocity did you come up with?

Welcome to the forum.

Nosler shows 67 grains for 2834 fps
69 for 2928
And a max of 71 for 3023 all in a 24 inch barrel.

I've loaded the 300 H&H with RL-22 From 59.4 grains to 72.5 grains and Winchester WLR primer without any ill effects when using 175 and 180 grain bullets.



RL-22 was my choice of powder for bullet weights between 165 and 180 grains.

Anybody ever chronographed Nosler's max load of 65gr of IMR-4350 for the 180gr Nosler? I get 2940 more or less, but Nosler claims 3000 and not out of a pressure barrel either. jorge

My pre 64 M70 with 26" bbl:
180 68-imr4350 WLRM primer clocks 3034
72 Re22 WLR primer clocks 3029
Both of these are max loads in my rifle.
