GS custom HV's to Canada
Has anyone ever had these shipped to Canada, and if so, how, how long did it take? I have been waiting for over 4 months now and still no sight of them.

I had a fair quantity of bullets shipped in from the U.S. a while ago and they were labeled as "lead extrusions". It seems to make a difference what the item is called and labeled when it hits customs, etc..

To the non-shooters in shipping and customs a shipment labled bullets will be assumed to be loaded ammunition and may create potential delays, charges, and even refusals to carry. Descriptions for import/export should be either very vague Like Daryl Elder's "lead extrusions" or very precise " reloading components, projectiles only, no hazmat, non-flamable, non-explosive".

Also, they were labeled "turned parts (copper)", and somehow I managed to escape paying duty on this package!!

Guess what i found in the mail box today [Smile]

Ordered 31 Dec 2001, showed up today. I figured it out for delivery though, they come the day after you have given up. They were marked turned parts(copper).

I'm still waiting, ordered in September!

The ones I sent to Canuck were eaten by a gremlin, too!
