DeerandDucksNew Barnes Triple Shok X in 6.8 mm????
Barnes shows a new 110 grain triple shok bullet in 6.8 mm. Why, if the bullet diamter is .277, is this not a 270 bullet rather a 6.8mm?
Is there any difference?
Just curious as Barnes lists them separately on their website.
A 110 grain 270 X bullet on deer is kinda appealing to me.

cooterIt is because they are banking on the Remington 6.8 spc, or whatever it is, being a big hit and having that market "niche" covered for when it does. And by telling you that it is a .277 bullet, they also cover the "270 niche".

DeerandDucksI did a google search and found it.
This bullet should reload fine in any .270, correct?
