Mule SkinnerWinchester .25 WSM next?
Has anybody heard whether Winchester might be offering a 25 caliber version of their WSM in the future? Given that they now offer a 300WSM, 7mmWSM and 270WSM it seems to me that the 25 would be an ideal next candidate. It seems to me that this would be a faster round than the 25-06 and more accurate given its short case length and fat diameter.

<Ol' Sarge>Let's hope so so I won't have to build a wildcat. Looks like the perfect case for a .257.
Doubt it could be more accurate than my .25-06, but if so, whoooooeeeeeee!

HunterJimWinchester knocked off the .300 Heavy Express Short Mag to introduce the .300 WSM. Heavy Express has a .250 in their line, and a 6mm as well.

<Doc Garnett>I don't have high hopes, but I'd like to see it in 6.5/.264 and 9.3/.366. Call me eccentric.

<Ol' Sarge>Doc,
Okay,
You be.
Actually a 6.5 would be nice.
