Looking for dies in 8x60S
Hi,
I bought a nice BRNO in 8x60S a while ago and am trying to fins dies for the caliber. Lee will make custom dies but they are a bit expensive. Anyone have an idea where to look? Would it be possible to modify 8x57 dies?

I'm afraid you are looking @ some level of custom dies. Redding & RCBS show them as custom.
Horandy does list them:

Midway has two sets Hornady available for $48.95

The RCBS are $122.99

I found the dies on Finnish Midway and they´re asking over 100 Euros for the Hornadays and 190 Euros for the RCBS. I guess shipping counts for some + customs but 100%?

Thanks for the assistance

Glad to help. Also, the 8x57 and 8x60s have the same shoulder diameter (0.431), so you should be able to use a standard 8x57 seating die for the 8x60s...

Maybe! But I use RCBS 8X60 dies to load my 8X60RS. My cases require an RCBS No. 26 shellhoder, but a plain rimless 8X60 uses a regular No. 3 shell holder, same as a .30/'06......

As I´m not a technical wizard and am easily cinfused I better stick with the correct size -anthing else is asking for trouble!

When all else fails, try Huntingdon, that is where I bought my 8x60S dies this year. Then go to Natchez for some RWS 8x60S brass to do the job right. Just look out for a 0.318 bore rifle, don't get suckered like I did by an 8x60mm SAKO Mauser. Now I have to get my slugs from Europe (RWS and S&B) or from Woodleigh (Australia), both are a real pain.

I´m buying the gun from boha, its a .323 bore and in nice shape. He´s actually throwing in some extras -new finish, checkering and butt plate for a total price I won´t mention -don´t want any rampaging jealousy on this thread!
