LOOKING FOR 180 GR. 40S&W LOAD FOR GLOCK 22
I only want to shoot 180 grain truncated jacketed bullets in my Glock 22's.
I like big slow moving bullets so I don't need a +P or near max load.
Thanks a bunch,
Duke

There are many powders that can get you 900fps easily. What do you have on hand? I have used HP38, WST, Universal, Unique, AA#7 & HS7.

All I have is rifle powder. What do most use in this application?

I like Power Pistol and 800X in 40sw, but most others like Blue Dot.

Blue Dot is bulky, and so will not work for really hot loads.

Well rifle powders won't do. Like I said, just about anything will get you 900fps. PP is good, so is AA#7, Unique, Universal, HP38, AA#5, WST & HS6. I don't care much for 800X performs well, but measures like crap. BlueDot is ok, but really best at max. levels pushing 1000fps.
