Powder For 7mm WSM & 168gr Berger Bullets???
Hi all! I'm trying to work up loads for my 7mm WSM. I've tried to exhaustion to make 150 Scirocco 2s shoot. I have a 1 in 9" twist rate, so I'm switching to 168 grain Berger VLD Hunting Bullets. Any experience with this bullet in this cartridge or advice on powders? Right now I'm looking at AA Magpro, H4350, and IMR7828 SSC. Thanks.

Brett

May fordings never be too deep, And alders not too thick; May rock slides never be too steep And ridges not too slick.
And may your bullets shoot as swell As Fred Bear's arrow's flew; And may your nose work just as well As Jack O'Connor's too.
May winds be never at your tail When stalking down the steep; May bears be never on your trail When packing out your sheep.
May the hundred pounds upon you Not make you break or trip; And may the plane in which you flew Await you at the strip.

I've been using Retumbo in my 7mmWSM with 168s.

Mine likes .015 off with the 168 VLD Hunting Bergers.
